School Hours
SCHOOL DAY
The Yavneh building opens for students at 8:00 am
The day begins for all grades at 8:15 am.
The school day ends for Early Childhood and Lower School (grades 1-5) at 3:20pm
The school day ends for Middle School (Grades 6-8) at 4:40pm.
AFTER CARE
We are proud to offer Yavneh's After-Care Program which provides an extended day option for children in Early Childhood and Lower School students starting from after dismissal on Mondays through Thursdays until 5:30 p.m. The children are cared for and supervised by professional and loving staff members in a safe and child-friendly environment.
Due to school programming and events, the extended day option will not be available on the following dates:
- Tzom Gedaliah
- Yavneh Open House
- Wednesday before Thanksgiving Break
- Asarah B'Tevet
- Last day of school before Winter Break
- Taanit Esther
- Yom HaAtzmaut
- Erev Shavuot
- Last day of school
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Extra-curricular activities are offered throughout the year after school. Detailed information is emailed to parents prior to each session. Please click HERE for a sample Clubs booklet.
