Mission Statement

For more than 60 years, Yavneh Academy, a modern orthodox yeshiva day school, has provided students with a superior educational foundation built on Torah Sh’bichtav, Torah Sh’Baal Peh, mitzvot, middot, Ivrit, Eretz Yisrael, Medinat Yisrael, and excellence in all Judaic and general studies.

We believe that all future learning is dependent upon the experience of youth. To achieve this goal we ignite excitement in our children by incorporating creative, innovative, and interactive curricula and projects into the daily educational experience.   Yavneh faculty are concerned with the whole child and stretch the curiosity of the student body so that our children grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Computer technology, multimedia programs, informal educational activities, cultural experiences, and field trips all enhance the Yavneh philosophy.

Our educational program is achieved through small student-teacher ratios and the involvement of parents at each step in the process. We measure our success by the thousands of Yavneh graduates who are equipped with a strong background of academic skills, middot, a love of learning, and readiness to meet the challenges of adolescence and beyond.
